The Trabucco Virtus XF Feeder 5500 is an increased capacity reel designed for anglers who require a larger drum capacity and more efficient line collection. This model retains all the advantages of the Virtus XF series, but provides more power for pulling heavier feeders.

This 5500 reel weighs 425 grams. The ratio remains stable at 4.6 to 1, but thanks to the larger drum diameter, the reel can reel in approximately 88 centimetres of line with one turn of the knob. The mechanism is fitted with 7 plus 1 sealed stainless steel bearings for durability and protection against dirt and water.

With a maximum stopping power of 8 kilograms, the reel can confidently handle even large fish. The drum capacity is larger than the smaller model and reaches a thickness of about 0.22 millimetres for 200 metres of line. Like the other models in the series, the reel is equipped with a slow oscillation system for an ideal spooling process.

The Long Cast aluminium drum with V-shaped profile is used in the construction to achieve long casting distances with less effort. Two metal clips allow convenient and accurate marking of fishing points at different distances. This is a powerful and reliable tool for serious feeder fishing.
