98% pure carbon blank Fuji K-rings with SIC ceramics Fuji reel holder Premium low viscosity EVA grip Reinforced blank body
The Tailwalk Micro Gamer SSD is the next generation of the 2025 series of rods designed for freshwater micro bait fishing. It is an updated and improved version that replaces the earlier SSD Micro Gamer series. The new version features an even lighter blank, higher sensitivity, advanced design and better handling. Perfect for fishing for perch, bream, trout, roach or even sturgeon.
? All rings - FUJI SiC (ALL SiC)
We use premium Fuji SiC rings with ultra-low friction for up to 20 times longer life and up to 5.7 times higher thermal conductivity compared to conventional ceramic rings. Suitable for use even with extremely thin PE braided rollers.
? Tailwalk Z-SHAPE Reel Holder
Unique reel holder designed by Tailwalk with elegant silver logo. It adapts perfectly to any style of holding - with one or all fingers. Provides maximum comfort and tactile contact with the reel.
? Foregripless design
Eliminating the foregrip allows direct finger contact with the blank, which improves sensitivity and reduces the overall weight of the rod.
? EVA Butt Cap
The small but functional EVA butt cap reduces weight without compromising comfort.
? Tubular top + quick action
The fast action and tubular structure provide extraordinary sensitivity - every bottom contact or bite is clearly transmitted to the hand. The excellent curve of the line gives both control and pleasure when reeling in fish.
The S74UL (2.23 m) is a longer version of the Micro Gamer SSD series, designed for those who want to cast their micro lures farther and with more accuracy. Its length makes it particularly useful in situations where you are fishing in wide areas of water, from high banks, or trying to reach active fish further from the bank.
The length allows casting even light lures at a greater distance
Ideal for searching for perch, trout, bream, as well as active fish on the surface or even for boilies in calm seas
Despite the UL rating,
The powerful butt power allows to fight effectively even with larger fish
Recommended bait weight - up to 14 g

The S74UL is the ideal choice for those who appreciate versatility and want to reach more water. If you need a spinning rod that is sensitive, robust, long casting and with a subtle presentation, this model will be one of the best choices in its class.
One of the most exciting developments for our market in 2025 in terms of high-end rods. This is a light jig with a "bonus". What is the bonus? It's a slight deviation from the standards in the ratio of the thin to the thick end. The tip of the jig is really slow and is perfect for smaller baits and cautious predators, but the thick tip is really powerful and helps a lot when you're undercutting and allows you to handle bigger catches. It would be a sin not to mention the reel holder for this spinning rod. WOW - 10 points! Tailwalk has done a really good job here - they design the reel brackets for many of their models themselves, and this is no exception. The holder is not only very comfortable, but also extremely sensitive, as it is made of a solid, one-piece material - no cork or EVA inserts to "overwhelm" the feel. A real tactile connection with the handle.
Fuji certainly has room for improvement. :)
The rod itself is a fast action, but certainly not a "dryer" like, say, the CF Arion. With this spinning rod, you don't have to fully release the reel's friction brake to avoid shaking off a bass - the first part of the spinning rod absorbs the impact of even small fish perfectly and helps to avoid losses.
Tailwalk Micro Gamer SSD S74UL 2.24 m / up to 16 g - all in all, it's the ideal rod for jigging for sturgeon and perch with 3-4 inch rubber. In windy conditions, it can be loaded with a 20g head, and in calm weather and shallow water, even with a 6g head, you won't feel like you've chosen a too powerful rod.
