The new Fullrange first came out in 2022 and is slowly starting to replace the first Fullrange series of 2015. For anyone who has encountered the now legendary Fullrange, the first thing that will be of interest is how the new series differs from the old. The first thing that catches the eye is the design. It is clearly more modern and better. The design of the cote looks even better, even though the first Fullrange was already ahead of almost all its competitors. The 2022 Fullrange has a much glossier face and a reel holder, which Fuji has based on the design developed by Tailwalk. The manufacturer itself declares that the new series has an improved reel seat and handle and an even higher quality blank. This can only be judged on the water, but if the reel performs even better than its predecessor, it should leave no doubt in the mind of even the most discerning casters.
The Fullrange C72MH will appeal to those looking for a more versatile casting rod, not only for twitching but also for soft baits. The 2.18 m length is still not a bother when twitching, but is already perfect for soft bait fishing. The spinning rod itself is really powerful. The 5 g - the lower limit of the test - is, to put it mildly, inadequate, and the upper limit - 28 g - is also far too low. Megabass Kanata or other 16 cm wobblers are just the thing for this spinning rod, and the 40 g rubber is certainly within its capabilities.
