Description
Rapala CrushCity 3.75″ Jerk - natural bait imitation for predatory fish
Rapala "The Jerk" lure is distinguished by its unique tail design - a forked (V-shaped) tail end that creates a special movement in the water. This design allows the lure to make fast, unexpected movements, simulating a wounded or sprinting fish, which particularly attracts the attention of predatory fish.
Why fork-tailed design?
Fork-tailed lures such as The Jerk mimic the behaviour of a wounded fish - sudden, erratic and fast - triggering the hunting instincts of prey fish. The fork-tailed design helps to stabilise the lure, ensuring that it does not twist and maintains the desired movement even during slower retrieves. In addition, fork-tailed lures often have a slow descent, mimicking the fall of a wounded fish, which can also attract predators.
- Fishing: Suitable for both fresh and salt water.
- Technique: Short jerks of the rod will cause the lure to move in a way that mimics the behaviour of a wounded fish.
- Fish: Ideal for pike, sturgeon, perch and other predatory fish.
