Fishing Tactics: How to fish effectively with Otus 25 cm?
Due to its 90 g weight, this lure requires powerful casting or spinning gear (up to 120-150 g casting test recommended) and a thick fluorocarbon or strong titanium leader.
The X-Rap Otus 25 starts working as soon as the reel handle is touched. It is most effective to retrieve it steadily, varying the retrieve with longer or shorter pauses(Stop & Go tactics). During the pause, the soft tail is still wiggling seductively and the hard body is swaying gently from side to side (the so-called body roll effect), which is usually followed by a powerful strike by a trophy pike.
