The 2022 innovation most anticipated by LIGHT, UL and XUL enthusiasts looking for a more economical reel than the Vanford. All the cheaper Shimano reels were weight-wise inferior to the only real competitors - Daiwa Legalis, Fuego or Exceler. Shimano finally plugged the gap in their range and released a super reliable and lightweight CI4+ body and rotor reel for ~100eur. It should also be noted that the Miravel is a slower reel than the Vanford and the larger models are perfect for more powerful applications. For river fishermen who like to fish for salmon, the 4000 size with 4.7:1 gearing is perfect.
