The new Nasci is a very powerful economy class reel for heavier loads. It has a slightly slower transmission than the Ultegra or Sachara. An excellent choice for those looking for a non-"paper" short-life reel like Daiwa makes at similar prices. This model differs from the older Nasci FB with a more modern, axle-screwed knob, ~15g less weight, one extra bearing, and a more modern clip that is also suitable for fiders. The 4000 model will appeal not only to salmon fishermen, but also to fiddlers, as it has a very powerful 4.7:1 ratio, non-scratching line clip.
