A very old, but still extremely productive trolling wobbler. Works well at various tempos, the action is not aggressive like crank type wobblers, but a bit more aggressive than longfin minnows. The SR09 model is indispensable when trolling for pike, sturgeon or even catfish. For pike, this wobbler is most useful in September-October when trolling in 4-6m depths. For sturgeon, it is at its best in November or December, and for catfish the Shad Rap is used in the Nemunas from Kaunas to Rusnė. When fishing in rivers or ponds with hard bottoms, it is possible and recommended not to be afraid to run the ShadRap close to the bottom, with a little bit of substrate. It jumps over obstacles easily enough, and by ploughing the bottom it catches most efficiently.
