The Major Craft RockLiver 5G is made from the same fantastic T1100 Toray carbon as the Aji-Do 5G, but it's a completely different rod apart from being just as fantastically light. The Rockliver is for us personally an unprecedented combination of lightness, sensitivity and... softness. It's not a very fast action spinning rod, it's hard to even call it Fast, it's more of a Moderate Fast action tool. BUT there is one very big but... this spinning rod is extremely sensitive and when tested the sensitivity was fantastic, both in terms of biting fish and bottom reading.

The 852M is the perfect choice for those looking for a versatile rod that can be used to fish the river for salmon, bream or pike with a variety of baits. But it's too soft for sturgeon, for which the new Major Craft Lateo model is ideal.
