Description

The Reins Rockvibe Shad 3" is one of the most popular reels on the market. It is worth noting that the silicone from the Japanese company Reins is much harder and stronger than Keitech or Bait Breath, but at the same time it is less aggressive (apart from the Bublbing series, which is a sectional tatsi armonica and is lame soft). The plus side of the harder rubber is durability and better hold on the hook, but the clear minus is that it is more difficult to cut with offset hooks. As for the aggressiveness of the work itself, sometimes more passive lures work, sometimes more aggressive. The Azukulele team has noticed that Reins work better when fished in the current, while Keitechs work better when fished in still or very slow-moving water. This is probably due to the same aggressiveness of the rubber, as Keitech becomes too aggressive in the current.
