An incredibly light reel, even for a size 800. There is not much else on the market yet, and at much higher prices. The reel also spins very easily and gently. I was really personally surprised by the weight and performance of this reel. However, it is worth noting that this is not a 1000 or 2000 size reel, it is slightly smaller than our usual 1000 size reels, but larger than the classic winter reels.
