The Golden Catch Stelios family, freshly launched in 2023, consists of the Competition, Active and River series. The differences are mainly in the blank stock. The Competition is a semi-parabolic action, with a slow and light blank, the Active is a fast action, with a heavier shaft for long casts, while the River, for the river, is quite powerful, but in terms of power, very light. All series are fitted with high quality, non-marking Sea Guide rings and combination cork grips.

The Stelios Competition 390cm 90g is a slow blank, but has a rather sharp shaft. In its price category it has a very good chance of repeating the success of the Volzhanka Optima. Excellent non-snagging rings, slim blank, low weight. It feels very nice in the hand. Comes with a really high-end 2,05mm diameter tip. Very good choice for Kaunas lagoon, or other large bodies of still water.
