This is probably the maximum limit for long distance casting. Heavier lures will not be thrown far with this rod. Is it afraid of overloading? The Rocliver T78L is not suitable for anglers on the biggest rivers, whose favourite lures are 1-5g. It will also appeal to those who like drop-shot fishing with 1-5g weights. Because even though it doesn't have an Extra Fast action, the blank is extremely sensitive and drop-shotting (shaking the lure) with such an action is a joke. Fans of the TIct Ralgo will also love this lure. You don't need a Ralgo to move big passive bass. There is now a much more modern Major Craft Rockliver also with a solid tip (S762Il).
