Angling for Splake Part I. Major Craft Egizaust 86ml
Which rod to choose for bream. We will discuss the most popular mature species and their rods suitable for fishing for herring.
Let's start with the brand that has made the most news - the giant Japanese manufacturer
Major Craft. The brand itself is well known and liked by everyone for its very consumer-friendly pricing. This year from MC we received several new series of rods, which have excellent patterns for chapal. I would like to start with
Egizaust 1G series and the FANTASTIC Major Craft Egizaust 86ml (https://bit.ly/Egizaust-EZ1-862ML). It is a 2.62cm long rod weighing exactly 100g and is designed for #0.4-1Pe line. The spinning rod has a claimed maximum casting test of 3.5Egi, which is roughly equivalent to 20g, but its real test in our conditions is 2-15g. The spinning rod is armed with Fuji K-R rings, Fuji reel holder and eva handle, The reel holder is tightened with two holders and there will be no problems with the reel opening itself. All rings, including the rear one, are secured against snagging, which is very important when fishing in windy weather. It is no fun when, during a cast or a retrieve, the tip of the spinning rod suddenly splits into two or three parts due to the line getting caught on the ring. The claimed (and real) action of the spinning rod is moderate fast, but it does not resemble the pigeon rods, where after the bait is cast, the limb swings for a long time, stopping the cast. Its fast and modern carbon and light rings disable the parasitic movements and the lure will cast really easy and far. The blank itself, including the butt end, is really thin (definitely thinner than we are used to seeing on rods of this length) and the rod will handle even a 100g bream perfectly, while at the same time giving unforgettable impressions of a serious fathead minnow or an unexpectedly snagged salad. With this spinning rod it is really brave to fish with the declared lower limit of the line, i.e. #0.4Pe, but the declared top#1Peis definitely a limit we do not recommend. All in all, this is the ideal rod for casting 2 to 10g wobblers or spinners and for those looking for something that is extremely nice in the hand and flexible in the retrieve.
