StrikeMaster Spare Blades 150mm Serrated (Mora)

These blades(StrikeMaster Serrated ICE-SB0010) are specific and only suitable for a certain StrikeMaster drill series.

These are Lazer type blades (serrated), so they will not fit the standard Mora hand drills (blue/black) which use smooth blades.

What these blades are suitable for (150mm Serrated):

They are designed for the StrikeMaster Lazer system (mostly for motorised or high-end drills):

1. StrikeMaster Lite-Flite Lazer (Very popular now, used with screwdrivers - plastic screw).

2. StrikeMaster Lazer Mag / Lazer Pro / Lazer XL-3000 (Petrol and electric motor drills).

3. StrikeMaster Electra Lazer.

4. StrikeMaster Lazer Hand Auger (Black hand auger - only if it is the Lazer version and not the Mora).

Who they are NOT for:

• Mora Ice Easy / Spiralen (Blue augers) - they use flat smooth blades.

• Mora Ice Expert / Pro (Black/Green) - they use spherical smooth blades.

• StrikeMaster Sport - they mostly use Mora type smooth blades.

• For vintage Russian augers.

What makes them special?

They are serrated knives. Different from regular Mora knives:

• Aggressiveness: They "bite" the ice much more aggressively and drill faster.

• Purpose: Ideal for clean ice. If the ice is sandy, serrated blades chip faster than smooth blades and are harder to sharpen.

In short: If you have that lightweight plastic drill for a spinner(Lite-Flite) - these blades are ideal for it. If you have a good old Mora handheld, these won't do.

If you are not sure about the model of your drill, you can send a picture of the drill head or just look at the old knives - if they are serrated, take these. If the blade is smooth, you will need a Mora Expert or Mora Spiralen. Can you help me find smooth blades?
