The Bassterra XT+ Sea Bass has been specifically designed for sea bass fishing and features excellent performance, high build quality and good value for money. The medium-speed action delivers power, sensitivity and excellent casting characteristics, while being versatile enough to fish effectively with both soft baits and wobblers.
If you're serious about sea bass fishing and are looking for a high-end rod that costs significantly less than most specialist models, the Bassterra XT+ Sea Bass is a great choice. Made from high-modulus Full Carbon blanks with Diaflash reinforcement, these rods will deliver the performance you need to take your results and fishing enjoyment to a new level. Lightweight and perfectly balanced, these long cast models are also perfect for fishing other shallow-water inshore fish in European waters.
At the heart of theBassterra XT+ Sea Bass is a medium-speed action, lightweight High Modulus Full Carbon blank with additional Diaflash reinforcement for added power and strength. On the lower part of the rod, this combination gives you the power to cast lures far out to feeding areas or to take full control of the fish when it's fighting near rocks or other structures. In the tip section, High Modulus Full Carbon provides greater sensitivity, allowing you to control your lures with maximum efficiency. Choose from 5 models with light, medium and medium-heavy action, suitable for all the most popular sea bass bait sizes - from as little as 4g to 65g wobblers and metal jigs. The Bassterra XT+ is finished with high quality Fuji Stainless Steel Fazlite rings, a Fuji TVS reel seat and an EVA handle with split design.
Key features:

Shimano surprised me with the Bassterra model, surprisingly in a good way, because so far all their rods costing less than 100eur were too clumsy. This is probably because the Basstera series is a JDM market, Japanese engineers' rods, just like Luanamis, Dialuna, Adrena, Zadias or Salty Advance. The Bassterra XTP LRF series are classic lightweight jigs with a flexible glued limb. This more luxurious series is available with Fuji rings and Fuji reel holder. The result is a really classic micro jig at a really very good price. More about Bassterra rods here:
