The Shimano Twin Power 4000FD has far surpassed its predecessor, the Twinpower 15, in popularity. The old Twinpower, like all the previous ones, had the advantage of being a skinny reel, but it was really heavy. The current FD model has finally shed ~20% of its weight and has become a much more versatile reel that can be used with any spinning rod.
