The Major Craft rockliver 5G is made from the same fantastic T1100 Toray carbon as the Aji-Do 5G, but it's a completely different rod apart from being just as fantastically light. The rockliver is for us personally an unprecedented combination of lightness, sensitivity and... softness. It's not a very fast action spinning rod, it's hard to even call it Fast, it's more of a Moderate Fast action tool. BUT there is one very big but... this spinning rod is extremely sensitive and when tested the sensitivity was fantastic, both in terms of biting fish and bottom reading.

The 962MH model is undoubtedly of most interest to river fishermen, salmon fishermen or serious salmon fishermen. It is a very serious contender to become one of the top salmon rods due to its lightness, long casting distance, because although it is not a super hard rod, its very high modulus carbon and light rings do not create parasitic movements when the bait is cast and the rod does not prevent the line from sliding easily through the rings.
