Shimano did the right thing and left most of the competition far behind with the release of the 2020 zodias. Spinning that does not cost 180 euros is more sensitive than 3x more expensive spinnings. Shimano did not go down the path of thinning the walls, where sensitivity is gained at the expense of strength and spin breaks at the first mistake. Shimano simply made an insanely responsive and light reel seat out of their proprietary CI4+ material, and a monocoque hollow handle that's light but strong and very resonant.
