Savagear Sof4play treble gums are a lethal weapon for catching pike in shallows and grasslands. This lure works best when equipped with special offset hooks. This lure is much closer to wobbler fishing than to jigging. Slow or faster, but short, retrieves are recommended, with short pauses to allow the lure to sink a little. It is advisable to use as little additional weight as possible. The extra weight should preferably be placed at the bottom of the belly of the hook. There is a special weight in the offset hook package for this purpose, but unfortunately it is not long lasting and stocks are quickly depleted. You can then twist a special heavy wire or simply clamp the weights of a float rod.
