Probably the most popular wobbler among Vilnius and Kaunas anglers. Why? Because this wobbler is owned by almost all salmon and bream anglers. And they have more than one. And these noble fish are now being fished by thousands. So which is better, the floating 88MD-F or the sinking 88MD-S? According to the official distributor, the sinking Timon is now being sold a little more, but more experienced anglers are still more likely to choose the floating version. Despite the fact that it casts much worse and more unstable than the MD-S, it has a "slower" action, i.e. the MD-F can be cast much slower, which is the key to success. Well, the sinkers are preferred by less experienced fishermen because they are simply more fun to spin. The Timon sinker casts very well with any spinning rod and it really impresses. There are a few tricks that will help with the MD-F Timon cast. Try to make the nose of the wobbler as light as possible. Give up the swivel, reduce the carabiner and take the ring off the nose of the wobbler. This will move the centre of gravity a little closer to the tail and the wobbler will fly straighter. Another tip is to choose a more powerful and faster action spinning rod. The Timon 88MD-F will cast better with a powerful spinning rod, even though the 10g weight of the wobbler will be at the lower end of the rod's claimed casting test.
