Each jar of boilies, wafters or minnows contains about 75g of bait by net weight. The lures are available in different sizes, colours and shapes, with a pop up (Pop Ups) and a neutral buoyancy (Wafers). Wafers are slightly elongated, Slim Wafers are cushion-shaped and Pop Ups are round. Ringers produces multi-coloured lures and also packs lures in different colours (Allsorts). They also have Washters, from the English word for wash, in their colour pellet. These lures are washed and faded in colour. They are more often used for wild fish, although they are also useful in commercial waters. Wafters are recommended to be hung with a rubber band rather than with a pin (Byonets). The rubber band holds their shape well and keeps the whole system lighter. Pop Up is Slim is most often hung by anglers with pins or on a float with a stopper.
