Feeders

Method minnows are minnows designed for method fishing. Method sherries are open-ended, without curbs, also known as flat, and with curbs. Flat type feeders practically always have a special mould with which the bait is clamped. Curb feeders are more often clamped by hand. Curb clamps are more commonly used in areas with greater depth, as they hold the bait better. However, this is not necessarily the rule. Closed-ended feeders are also more commonly used in non-commercial waters for tench or bream, where it is desirable not to overfeed the fish and to present the bait on a small bait pile. The more open flat-type feeders are more popular in fish-rich areas, i.e. commercial water bodies. The most popular method type feeders are called "distance method feeders". They are designed for long casts and their centre of gravity is maximally concentrated at the front of the feeder. A few years ago, improved feeders of this type - with a tube or a dart at the end - which were already used by sportsmen, appeared in mass production. This type of feeder casts as far as possible and is available even at 70g or 80g weight. The most popular feeders of this type are made by the Hungarians. For example, Lithuanian athletes cannot do without Cralusso method feeders. They are considered one of the best on the market. Nowadays, the use of large dart feeders in commercial fishing grounds has become very popular, where 3 times as much bait can be stored as in a normal feeder. These are usually used for starter baiting.

You will always find the best brands such as Cralusso, Preston and Guru online. The Lithuanian brand Atora also produces high quality feeders at half the price. Atora feeders are really worthy of attention and are loved by both feeder and method feeders and sportsmen.
