Shimano rods - the biggest choice
Shimano used to be known as the best reel manufacturer, but over the last few years it has become clear that Shimano is not going to limit its leadership to the reel segment. They have invested huge resources in their own factories and the best rod engineers, bought the Gloomis factory with all their experience and have done what they set out to do. Now Shimano rods are considered to be among the most technologically advanced and best rods in the world. In the most economical segment under 80 euro, Shimano still has a lot of room to grow, but at prices above 100 euro they throw down the gauntlet to the mighty Major Craft and the smaller manufacturers in the premium segment, such as Tict, Xesta, Evergreen and others. More recently, Shimano has decided to conquer the European rod market too and has started releasing technologically more advanced rods for bigbaits that are snapped up as they come along. As far as the bigbait market is concerned, the Shimano Yasei series rods are available in three price segments. The cheapest Yasei bb, the more luxurious already higher priced Yasei Pike, and the premium segment Yasei LTD. Shimano Lunaims, Adrena or Zodias rods need no introduction. These are the leaders in terms of sales in their classes. The Zodias, Adrena or Expride are the favourite of jiggers or twiddlers, the Lunamis is undoubtedly the favourite of salmon fishermen or shore anglers. Shimano Sustain's new series is quite versatile for anglers looking for one decent spinning rod that can be used in a number of ways.
Shimano Soare is increasingly winning the hearts of UL anglers and in 2024 we will see 3 more models on our market. The new Shimano Bassterra and Salty Advantage series are also highly recommended. These are mid-range lightweight rods mainly for fishing from the shore. In our eyes, they are extremely cheap in terms of quality and are really great rods, both for salmon or bream and for all-round use.
Shimano rods are the most reliable
Traders and anglers alike are probably already convinced that Shimano rods are extremely reliable. They simply hold up to loads, overloads and anglers' mistakes better than other brands of rods. This is much appreciated by practical people who don't want to buy a new half-spinner every year and come back from fishing in a foul mood. This is a very important feature for Shimano. The entire success of this company, both in the sphere of bicycles, reels, rods, etc., is based on the reliability of the brand. The same is true of spinning. Shimano does not sacrifice the durability of a spinning rod for the sake of a few grams of lighter blank to make it look nicer on the Internet. Shimano is reliable and durable, period.

This means that there will be an opportunity to try the most popular Shimano rods by the river before you buy them. Just leave a deposit and you will have a chance to check if it is the spinning you are looking for. These rods will not be for sale and no one will buy a rod that has already been fished. They will be for trial purposes only and will never be sold as new fishing rods.
