The Iron Wolf Expert Superlight, or rather a copy of the Daiwa Presso 21, is just that. The 1000 reel weighs only 145g and the 2000, with a slightly wider reel, only 150g. You can't achieve this weight by making a reel out of plastic or aluminium, it's only possible with a carbon fibre body and a rotor that holds the Iron Wolf Expert Superlight's high quality serrations firmly in place, plus 6 more bearings inside. Add a screw-in knob that goes straight into the axle and a reel that is fantastically smooth and light and you have perhaps the best reel for lightweight and very easy fishing in the under 100eur category.
